We hope you will see this as a great opportunity to join us in "CELEBRATING CREATIVITY IN HOLDFAST BAY".
The festival was run over a 12 month period with monthly screenings at a local cinema.
The MONTHLY SCREENINGS each comprised ten short films. The films were submitted by the filmmaking community from Australia and around the world. Filmmakers were asked to submit short films (duration no more than 30 minutes) that have been filmed and/or produced in the last 24 months.
At the end of each screening session, one film was selected by the audience as "Best Film of the Month (Audience Choice)" and a second was selected by Judges (Judges. These two films were then automatically entered into the ANNUAL FILM FESTIVAL AWARDS.
COMMUNITY and EDUCATION OBJECTIVES will be set for the festival to deliver a platform of courses and workshops intended to increase awareness of the film industry, local educational opportunities, support available to the community and motivational activities to stimulate creativity within the region, bringing more people to the district.
